You may have heard that a good connection is essential to continued success – and you won’t just hear this on an online dating site. However, that might be part of their messaging. Sure, those sites want to get people together, but there are other contexts where connections are important that don’t have to do with romance.
People like to be matchmakers and claim credit for putting two people or institutions together. Some of that same thing might come into play in your typical corporate mergers and acquisitions.
For our part, we work in the healthcare industry, where there are many moving parts and a fast-paced business world presents challenges. Of course, providers and care networks need the right equipment and compliance with all sorts of modern rules and standards. They also need the right talent.
A lot of what we do is making those connections that will generate better productivity for medical networks and health systems in a region. Learn more about our connections to access what’s there in your community and elsewhere.
Placing CNAs and RNs
Two of the most important kinds of professionals needed nationwide are CNAs and RNs.
These two job roles are very different in many ways. The CNA is often in a sort of caregiver role, albeit with some professional certifications and standards applied. Registered nurses may have much more responsibility for a given population based on their skills, experience, and medical qualifications.
But in both cases, some good models apply to getting the best results.
Per Diem and Short-Term Contracts
Let’s face it: the healthcare world is different than it used to be.
Gone are the days when people, in healthcare or anywhere else, toiled away in the same job for 50 years and got a gold watch.
The model is so much different now, and things move at the speed of light – at least, it sometimes seems that way.
People have to be ready to move, too. But a lot of times, that’s very difficult, logistically. How do you have the tools to match people with job positions on the fly for short-term contracts? Doing this successfully solves many problems, but it’s easier said than done.
Helping Out
It’s easier when you have a company that understands the need and the urgency to get people to the right places. We’ve adopted a travel mindset for this purpose – to put people together with the opportunities they need. And those are the same opportunities that the employer needs. So there’s a definite synergy there!
Rather than just humming about matchmakers, we make these things happen. Check out the blog for more, and you’ll see that we actively innovate healthcare for a changing world.
